Monet

I've made these beads a few times, so last week I decided to make a set for me to play with. I used some bali silver and some Kyanite rondelles with them.
Finally got some beads made today, after three days off! I was beginning to have withdrawal symptoms.

Lovely bracelet. I like the beads of course but also the kyanite rondels. They match them perfectly.

I was just thinking. It must be a wonderful feeling to be able to make any beads you like for your jewellery...the rest of us just rely on website updates!

But seriously, your jewellery is so elegant. This particular piece has a very romantic feel to it.

Thank you, Mary! I don't make very much jewellery, but I need an excuse to buy gemstones and Bali beads! Actually, making a few things has helped me a lot to find out how beads behave in designs, and why sometimes things that look impressive as beads are maybe not so useful to a designer - see, I do think of you!!

I was about to say exactly the same as Mary! I'm also envious of anyone who can use so many lampwork beads in a bracelet. I just can't do that cos bracelets aren't good sellers for me so I always use them in necklaces instead. This piece is lovely!

Thanks, folks!
I rarely sell jewellery at all - just can't resist making a bit now and then!I tell myself it makes me a better beadmaker - oh, the power of self-delusion is a wonderful thing!!
