More Shards

Getting slightly obsessive now!

Shards

Shards have always been a bit of a 'thing' for me, but I've finally got the hang of getting them nice and thin - now I want to make them in every colour I possess!

Silver Core System

Well, it's taken me half a day, but I have a whole new section on my website! It's especially for my silver core bead system, and contains chain maille starter bracelets, custom locks, cored beads and charms. I had a clear out of my Gallery too, and it's all looking a lot neater, I think.

Silver Cores

It's not frit! Just for a change.
I've been playing with my new bead roller from Bev at Pegasus Lampwork Tools. She has the most amazing selection of shapes I have ever seen. Check them out here - http://www.pegasuslampworktools.co.uk/
The silver cores were a bit of a learning curve, but I've decided it's a Zen thing!

Flower Garden

Oh, I'm a bad blogger!! I've been Missing in Action 'cos I've been working out how to make flowers that look like they've been painted. I'm getting there, but it's addictive - just one more set - or I wonder what they'd look like in this colour - I need therapy!!

Monet

I've made these beads a few times, so last week I decided to make a set for me to play with. I used some bali silver and some Kyanite rondelles with them.
Finally got some beads made today, after three days off! I was beginning to have withdrawal symptoms.

Lotus

It's taken me ages to get these lotus beads down! I'm pleased with them now, though.
I've kept it simple with a sterling beadcap and a fairly dramatic pair of earwires, but the beads are the stars!
