Monet's Garden

I seem to be having Monet on the brain lately - this little set of beads developed when I was looking for something else! I really like the way they've turned out, and I think the idea will work in other colours too, so plenty to think about and experiment with.
Nothing else is happening in cloudy Wales - although there are a million forget-me-nots in the garden, looking Spring-like.

They really are beautiful, as are all your beads Izzy!

Oh roll on spring I say, can't wait for warmth and sun.

Oh, me too!! I planted some pansies in pots today - they are the most amazing colours - a sort of beigey-cream shading into a dusty reddish violet, really unusual. It was a bit cold to stay out too long, though.

I love the Monet effect - I agree you have captured the idea of the waterlilies perfectly in these beads - it reminds me of my trip to Paris last Autumn with my sister - we spent a lovely afternoon in the Musee D'Orsay, which has, amoung other beautiful things, a couple of huge Monet waterlily paintings :)

Thanks, Ali! I'd love to see the huge waterlily painting - I've seen a couple of the smaller ones, but not the wall-sized one.One day...........

I find your work very inspiring.
